Intentional Living Coaching

Life is meant to be lived to the fullest. Too often people are content to live without a plan, but merely “go with the flow” wherever it may take them. The problem with this is that you can easily overlook opportunities. Planning and deciding which opportunities to follow can make all of the difference in your life.

The path of life is full of challenges and hardships that hinder us from an empowered lifestyle. Some are simply apart of life, others come about through the actions and decisions of those around us. Still others result because of our own attitudes and decisions.

We go through our normal days one much like another, reacting to events around us. Intentional Living is proactive not reactive. It focuses on the joys of today while it plans for the future we desire, and shapes our lives to bring that to fruition. We view each day as a part of a greater journey, and our decisions are designed to enable us to follow that path.

Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching started out within corporations that were seeking a means to help their employees in areas that needed improvement. Coaching proved to be a tool to help your employees be more productive.

As executives discovered the benefits of coaching for their employees they increasingly sought coaching for themselves. Executives deal with difficult decisions each day such as reacting to problem employees and deal-making choices that effect others lives and futures. As they dealt with the stresses of their work, executives experienced the benefit of having someone join them.

Life Coaching is a tool for you, the executive, to make the most of your role. You deal with difficult decisions each day, reacting to problem employees and decisions that affect other’s lives and futures. The corporate world is a tough place and the higher you go the lonelier it is. Your life coach will act as a partner as you explore the ramifications of your actions and will encourage you with your professional life. Together you will find strength and support to develop your own talents and plan for your future goals.

Transitions Coaching

There are three constants in life: death, taxes and change. We all go through many periods of transition in our lives. From first jobs to losing jobs to retirement our work lives are in flux. Our family situations also face periods of transition. Forming a new family to losing parents or other loved ones all present challenges that need to be faced.

Together with your coach, Transition Coaching is designed to help provide direction and strength through those times of change.

Losing a job can feel devastating and often times paralyzing. Having a life coach who cares will encourage you to take the necessary next steps to finding another position and a new future.

Losing a parent or spouse has so many more ramifications than just the pain of loss. There may be decisions to make that seem overwhelming. New family structures to develop in light of those passings. With transition coaching you have someone at your side to support you through these changes.

A major increase in net worth such as receiving an inheritance, insurance or divorce settlement, or even a lottery winning presents life-altering challenges. Having someone whose only goal is your  best interests,  can make a huge, positive difference to your future.

Relationship Coaching

Relationships enrich our lives in many ways. They provide love, support, care and comfort throughout our lives. These relationships change over time which can result in turmoil and stress. This is true whether you are dating, or married, or experiencing death of a loved one, divorce or re-marriage.

Relationships with spouses, parents, children or significant others all have their complications. Whether you are seeking understanding of the dynamics in your current relationship, , or looking forward to starting a new relationship, having a life coach who is unbiased to analyze and provide you with a fresh perspective is incredibly beneficial.

Instead of being ruled by chance and the actions of others, life coaching empowers you to develop deeper understanding of your relationships. It helps you develop strategies to strengthen them and provides caring and support in dealing with whatever interpersonal challenges arise.

Law Enforcement Coaching

Law Enforcement is one of the most challenging of all careers. The daily stresses and experiences law enforcement professionals face create unique challenges both on the job and within their families. These are compounded by a sense that others outside of law enforcement have a difficult time understanding their lives.

There are so many positive aspects to law enforcement work. Helping others and protecting others through tough and scary situations brings a feeling of fulfillment few other professions offer. But there are also times of stress, danger and pain as you work with those who have been devastated by life and the actions of others.

There are also unique challenges as you work toward advancement. What changes do you need to make to advance your career? Or there may be conflicts with co-workers or supervisors. Having a life coach who understands those situations in the unique field of law enforcement can make a huge difference.

For over 15 years I served with departments in Virginia and California including developing the chaplaincy program for the Waynesboro, Va. Police Department. I worked alongside the entire department from the newest officer to the Chief. Through over 2000 hours riding and serving with officers I have developed a deep respect and understanding of officers’ lives and unique challenges.
